I was racing around the Alps course yesterday in a Jaguar XJ220 and I got a sudden wave of Deja Vu. It took me a momment, but then I realized I actually have done this before. Back in the late 90's when I was doing the exact same thing on my PC in Need For Speed II. That feeling of nostalgia stayed with me all day, and then it hit me. There's got to be more cars from those first NFS games in Forza. So I checked, and yes, quite a few are. So I figured... TRACK DAY!
Simple rules... I provide the list of cars from the original 3 NFS games. Anyone who wishes to sign up for this would pick one car from that list, and then it is taken. Nobody else drives it, first come first served. Performance upgrades allowed, but nothing visual, such as decals/numbers, flames, stripes or custom rims. Stock appearance. Sports tires, no slicks. Anything else goes. Two seperate classes R3 and A.

'98 Mercedes CLK GTR
A Car List:
'97 Acura NSX
'96 Chevrolet Corvette
'02 Chevrolet Corvette
'99 Dodge Viper GTS
'91 Ferrari 512 TR
'94 Ferrari F355
'02 575 Maranello
'92 Honda NSX-R
'88 Lamborghini Countach
'97 Lamborghini Diablo
'02 Lotus Esprit
'97 Mazda RX-7
'98 Toyota Supra
Because I came up with this I stole the Diablo as first pick. (winning)
Race date is up in the air until I see how many other Forza-ers are feeling a little teary eyed like me.
