The patch is out today. But from the sound of it, I don't think they helped the connection problems at all (though I didn't have anyone on to test it), just the lobby crashes happening when the race loads. We'll see on sunday at qualifying for race 3 I guess.

Hopefully the "memory leak" fix will help with connectivity a bit. My problems have been happening the same way they described. When I bought the game it worked fine, and has gotten gradually worse over time, it could have been a side affect of this issue they fixed. Fingers crossed.
